Well, where could I start? Let's see...
My dear mother woke me up eight in the morning, freaking out for the fact that I was meant to be in school by 8:30. Hurriedly, I took a quick bath, got dressed and ate tuna (tasty but a little too fishy for the smell) for breakfast and had my awesome father drive me to school. As soon as I've reached school, I decided to study these incomplete reviewers (I only got to make reviewers for the "Migration" while failing to make reviewers for "Aboriginal Rights and Freedoms" topic because of the temptation to talk to my dear friend Virus in Windows Live) I made for History, but they ended up getting borrowed by a classmate of mine. I later turned to my History textbook which didn't really help since the bell rang a few minutes before I could even get some information in my head. Plus, I was distracted to give my best buds, Slexy and Virus, a hug!
I know, right? But hey - I can't help it, alright? I'm just happy to see them everyday, even though we've been seeing (or at least talking to) each other almost every day. We're inseparable, in other words - despite the fact that we've been only been really close for approximately four months. It seems that we've known each other for like four years - even more! I don't know, but I had never had that level of trust with someone my whole life and no one had the same with me. I could say, it seemed we've been friends forever. Three of us, although coming from different cultural backgrounds (S = Chilean, V = Bosnian, I = Filipino), seemed interestingly destined to be friends forever. Even Tazzie's background is Uruguayan. LOL!
Going back to topic... after the bell rang, we entered the auditorium and sat with the same seating arrangement as the previous day. I expected the History/Geography exam to come up first, but luckily, the Computing Skills exam showed up. The exam proved to be a piece of cake - not to brag or anything - because of the fact that some of the questions were from this Board of Studies online practice test that I took the day before, although I did have some trouble with a couple of questions regarding the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) found in emails... But who cares? I kind of checked it now, and I think I chose the right answer. I hope...
Recess was the same as before, although this time, I was seriously committed to studying the History textbook. But guess what? Just after remember what the bloody heck "Native Title" is, V and S provoked me to play some ball kicking and to stop stressing about the upcoming exam. The fact that I didn't occupy myself with studying the textbook made me less stressful when the torture time finally came...
DUM-DUM-DUM-DUM-DUUUUM!
And there it was. The three of us actually arrived a little late for the final History/Geography half-yearly, although that was the least of my problems. While the teacher was explaining something about the test, I noticeably reminded V about something very important, and that was basically enough to get me in trouble. You may say it was a walk of shame when the teacher asked me to go outside, but I couldn't stop smiling for some annoyingly stupid reason although I knew by then that I had cost myself some valuable time in finishing the exam.
It was not long after I was permitted to go back in the auditorium and continue with my exam, but I was moved away from V and S. It obviously pissed me off, but what could I do? I chose not to cause any problems in the exam, so I abode by the disciplinary action...
I attempted the History/Civics half, and it proved to be just fine. It wasn't as horrifying as I thought it would be, although the multiple questions killed me for a second. I am certain that I also spent too much time on the essay, and that basically imbalanced my supposed time allocation. What's the result? Well, after spending less time for the Geography part of the test, I failed to answer the last part of the section properly. We were meant to write this whole page letter, and I only wrote like 5 lines or something! GIT! I swear - I failed that bloody exam! Plus, it was not the only mistake that I had committed; I think I made these dumb errors in the multiple choice in both sections and wrote nonsensical stuff in the short answers parts...
BUT WHO CARES?
It's bloody finished already! Let's leave it like that - positive and non-anxious.
After the exam - 1:05 pm, the three of us headed to McDonalds, squashing ourselves into the sheltered area V's umbrella. We hung out there for at least 15 minutes before we decided to walk to V's home. Prior to that, I actually texted my auntie about staying over at her place, but that simply was impossible since I was still grounded. My mom, who called me on my phone, totally made it clear that there was no way I am going to sleep in my auntie's house. Of course, I was pissed - even my auntie was! Who wouldn't be? Come on, It's the end of the exams! Can't I, for once, celebrate?
What we did in V's house was pretty confidential - those "I-can't-tell-you" stuff, although all I could really say is that we had absolute fun! We... err... listened to music, took pictures using V's laptop (since her camera had empty battery) and we... err... had some fun doing some random typical stuff.
When Three Best Buds Finish Their Half Yearly Exams, They... (DON'T EVEN ASK)
And that was it really. The next thing I knew, the three of us walked again for 15 minutes towards the train station where V decided to meet her man while S and I planned to walk together. Before that, V's cool mother offered us some really yummy salad which I'm actually craving for at the moment. She's an awesome cook if you ask me. Last time, her pizza got my auntie craving too! Yada, yada, yada - the three of us bade farewell with a three-way hug, I walked with S until I gave her a final goodbye-hug for I had to go the opposite way to Fairfield Forum where my auntie was waiting to pick me up...
Yes, yes, yes - I was not allowed to sleepover at her place, but I was only spending time with her. My auntie, together with my little cousins, picked up my sister and went directly to Subway. There, we enjoyed some meatball sub and some danish custards which we found very addictive... and that served as my dinner...
And that was the conclusion of most of my day. It may all sound pretty typical or boring, but trust me, you have no clue to what has happened... *evil laugh*
