Achievements Can Mean Sacrifice

Today was perhaps one of the most dead day for me. Nothing much happened. I was just frustrated with the fact that I didn't get to go to the Riverside Theatre excursion. I didn't even get to see Slexy the whole day. I was lucky enough to have Tazzie by my side for almost half a day, so that was fine. I was happy to spend time with Virus early in the morning and afternoon as well, so it was better...

Well in the morning, I only got to see V in roll call, so I said bye to her as soon as the bell rang. For the first period - Geography - we watched Twelve Monkeys for two periods, missing Science purposely as we were allowed anyway. For Recess, I ended up staying in the hall, getting ready for the Stage 5 Academic Excellence Assembly. The whole assembly seemed long because of the very long speeches. Corey Payne was a guest speaker for our assembly which was quite cool - I guess. I received some few awards, including first in Music, Information Software Technology and Science. I also get to hear T sing a Muse hit, "Time Is Running Out" where I cheered for him - of course.

My auntie, together with my grandmother - my grandfather's sister, came a few minutes before the assembly ended. I didn't really mind because at least they bothered to come. They also stayed over for the morning tea which was cool because I get to talk to them. Again, some Michael Jackson songs were played during the break. They just seemed to never end. I spent most of my remaining Lunch time with Mini-Virus before she had to go to the hall for the Stage 4 Academic Excellence Assembly. This assembly was quite similar to our one, so there was not much excitement. I just loved the fact that T performed a lot better than the previous one because he connected with the audience more.

After the assembly, I decided to wait for V with MV and their dear mother, but we thought she already left, so we decided to go. I was sad in a way, since I didn't get to see two of my best buds the whole day. However, in McDonalds, while MV was ordering some ice cream cones for us, I saw V going towards McDonalds after a friend noticed her. I was very happy to see her - of course - that I actually gave her a big hug. The fact that we were in the drive-way makes it hilarious because we could have gotten killed. LOL! Anyway, we ate and chatted for some few minutes until they decided to go home.

I actually accompanied them since I promised MV to make her a graphic for her MSN avatar. It wasn't long until I had to leave for my bus, and I almost got late because I took my time walking. I almost got in trouble with my dear mother too, but I kept cool with her - so it's all fine.

Nothing much happened by then. I talked to V and then T and then V (again - even now). It's currently 11:12 pm - an hour and twelve minutes passed her curfew. There is just stuff that is worrying her, and I just have to be there by her side I guess. That's all for now. I might do some other stuff later though like adding songs to my IPod. I hope she's fine too...
